Its extremely important that your support person, i.e. wife, know how to refresh her computer browser otherwise there is a good possibility that the information such as sea ice will not be the most current. Imagine the consequences of trying to navigate with old ice map information... Oops!
I have been able to re-create the problem asked by a frequent visitor to my blog.
Note date and time in graphics. National Weather Service (NWS) does not have simple code in their webpage to auto refresh when a visitor opens the url. (Shame on NWS, I've made the suggestion, lets hope they make a change as simple as inserting a line of html code <metahttp-equiv="refresh"content="0; url=http://example.com/"> or <noscript><metahttp-equiv="refresh"content="0; url=news-nojs.php"></noscript>)
If you do not know how to manually refresh your browser AND CACHE I suggest you Google for help.
