S/V PACHAMAMA did not know Fury & Hecla Strait was open until they arrived at Port Kennedy (Bellot Strait) and talked with David Scott Cowper (M/V POLAR BOUND) who completed the first transit of Fury & Hecla Strait West on 20160826 with his son, Fred Cowper as crew.
